Ontario County SWCD Fish Stocking Program

A well-stocked pond can provide many recreational opportunities for your family. The Ontario County SWCD fish stocking program provides suitable species at a reasonable cost. To place an order, download an order form and mail in your check.

 

The NYS Department of Environmental Conservation requires a farm fish pond license. See the DEC Farm Fish Pond License Application form.

Ontario County Public Heath Rabies Prevention Clinic

Because we have documented rabies in this county, it is the law that every dog, cat and ferret in Ontario County must be vaccinated against rabies at all times. This clinic offers FREE vaccinations to healthy animals who are at least three months old. (Donations appreciated.) Please bring your animal's past rabies certificate, if any.

Ontario County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day

This event is free and open to residents of Ontario County only. Pre-registration and proof of residency will be required. The event is open to the first 600 residents who register. No business or farm waste will be accepted. Material accepted at the event will include any discarded household substances that can be classifed as toxic, corrosive, flammable or reactive.
