Ontario County SWCD Fish Stocking Program
A well-stocked pond can provide many recreational opportunities for your family. The Ontario County SWCD fish stocking program provides suitable species at a reasonable cost. Fish stocking sales are held each year in September and May; visit the OCSWCD's fish stocking page in early September or early April to place your order.
 
Note: The NYS Department of Environmental Conservation requires a farm fish pond license. See the DEC Farm Fish Pond License Application form.

ONYA - Voice of Experience 2014

At this free annual event, girls ages 12 to 18 who are accompanied by an adult woman from Ontario, Wayne or Yates Counties will have the opportunity to learn from the stories of creative and determined women. This event focuses on "life education" for girls, and emphasizes the importance of girls and women having an education and/or the skills necessary to achieve self-sufficiency. Each girl who attends the event will receive a goody bag donated by local organizations, and the opportunity to win raffle items.

 

Sponsored by ONYA (Ontario Yates Fund for Women). Doors open at 6:30 pm.
